Key laboratory
The key laboratory was identified by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology in 2013, and was built jointly with Tsinghua University, the Institute of Acoustics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Communication University of China, relying on Sonxun Co., Ltd.
It consists of large-scale video networking and cloud video technology research room, video data processing and intelligent identification research room, security big data application technology research room, audio signal processing and audio information analysis technology research room, which combines production, research and research to carry out research in the field of security big data processing and application.

He also serves as the vice chairman of the China Security Industry Association, the vice chairman of the Beijing Security Association, the member of the National Security Alarm System Standardization Technical Committee (TC100), the special expert of the security engineering of the 2008 Olympic Games, and the expert of the engineering construction of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games. In 1990, he invented the world's first intelligent voice controlled Chinese word processor, and in 1992, he was granted special government allowance by the State Council. As the project leader, he presided over 3 "863" projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, 2 "National Science and Technology Support Plan" projects, and 10 "Beijing Science and Technology Plan" projects.
